Is the tiling done all the way up to the ceiling or, for example, only up to the top edge of the door frame? - if applicable, I would "anchor" it to a corresponding reference height such as the window lintels, the top edge of the mirror, or the like.

No, we definitely won’t tile up to the ceiling.

Here is the plan (although no longer completely up to date; the windows have changed):

If necessary, we will reduce the inside dimension of the shower to 1.1m to have more space for the sinks.
Above the sauna, there will be a lowered ceiling; so the sauna will be normally full room height or somewhat lower, and above it a wall up to the ceiling. The side on the right side of the plan in the shower as well as the back wall are also full room height up to the ceiling (since behind the back wall is the hallway and on the left side of the plan are the utility room and sauna).
I am concerned about the wall on the left side of the plan, No. 43.

The wall to the right of the shower is then basically continuous upwards on the plan up to the window side - or?

Where are you planning the showerhead? And what is the triangle in the shower supposed to mean?

Shower door? .. I recommend it to open inward. Since a large wing is often impractical there, then an inward folding shower door. I have one too and it is very pleasant because the shower water dripping from the door does not end up in front of the shower. I would have it open inward to the left here.

Regarding the height of the shower wall .. really plan the washbasin situation and actually choose a suitable height line there.

Is a towel radiator supposed to go somewhere there as well?

Yes, the wall on the right side of the plan goes up to the roof (with the exception of the door to the sauna). The showerhead should be placed on the wall at the bottom of the plan, the triangle is a seating pedestal (but should be moved to the right side of the plan); no shower door is planned. The towel radiator might possibly be placed on the partition wall to the WB, we are still considering whether we want it. Currently, we have a FB in our bathroom and such a towel dryer, which is never turned on because it is too warm in the bathroom. Therefore, we are questioning its usefulness. The towels dry anyway. I think we will plan the wall to be about 220 - 230 cm high.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question, in the sense that you are asking about the height of a shower door?!? I would adapt my answer accordingly to that of . Lintels are often used as a reference for heights, also for the tile edge.

We agreed on 220cm from the top edge of the finished floor. That is also the height for the [Sauna] and thus the [Saunatüre]; then it fits.
