Hello everyone, maybe you can help us. We received our screed, which we had continuously ventilated for over three weeks. Now we have received a device for surface and functional heating. Our heating technician told us that our heating system only goes up to 35 degrees. The device ran for a few days until it was supposed to reach 55 degrees, but it manages at most 40 degrees. How are the 55 degrees supposed to be reached if the internal heating does not heat beyond 35? Do we need a mobile device brought in and do we have to move it repeatedly into different rooms? Thanks for the help

So you should actually ask all these questions to your heating installer. After all, you are buying a house and paying for the proper execution of the services.

Depending on the type of screed, there are also regulations to follow regarding how it should be heated up and cooled down. In other words, arbitrary temperature fluctuations are counterproductive.

For example:

I would send the heating installer back to vocational school... If Max. 35°C flow temperature is mentioned, he probably meant that because it is about a heat pump?

However, 99.99% of all heat pumps have an electric heating element precisely to reach higher temperatures than 35°C when the ambient energy is not sufficient.

Otherwise, warm water production would be impossible as it also wants to reach more than 35°C.

All in all, I would watch the heating installer very closely; he doesn't seem to have much knowledge about what he is installing.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have dragged in such a mobile heating device which is also purely electric and brings the flow temperature up to 55°C.

With us, the heating up was done completely via the internal heating element of the heat pump, because temperature fluctuations are not welcome when heating up.

Some manufacturers only allow heating up with the heat pump, for example, if it can be guaranteed that the outside temperature does not fall below, for example, 0°C.

But test him and ask how the system is supposed to bring the domestic hot water to 55°-60°C because of the risk of legionella if a max. 35°C flow temperature is possible?

This device is already mounted on the underfloor heating. As shown in the diagram above, the program is also recorded but it does not reach 55 degrees. He also said that a heating element in the device is broken and the kWh had to be throttled to 18 instead of 32 kWh because the construction power box or we do not get more, a special permit is required from the utility company.
