So far, we have been very satisfied with our craftsmen. However, we do not like the plumbers' work in some places... Maybe we are too picky and everything will disappear in the screed anyway... so I would like to hear your opinion (photo: utility room). Especially pretty: the "spacers" made of Styrofoam blocks... can this really stay like that? There is already a lot of mess in the house. Mud is being tracked in from outside, debris is lying around everywhere, and the craftsmen inevitably step on the still exposed pipes... how does it look on your construction sites?

Best regards, Steffi.

Why? It looks like proper work.

Everything nicely insulated and fixed to the floor and not just floating... the Styrofoam is there to maintain the slope...

Nobody cares about the dirt now once the screed or plaster comes... it will get dirty at first... and then nice again... you don't need to worry about that.

Unfortunately, it's unavoidable that the craftsmen step on the pipes... but if something gets damaged... the responsible party is liable...

Except for the junction in front of the door, I also find it quite neat.

How is the complete floor structure supposed to look and how thick is the layer in which the cables are supposed to lie? The junction could possibly become critical.

I would be much more concerned about the electrical and network cables lying around at the edges. I wouldn't like that.

That's right, in the top right of the photo it's not correct (installation zones according to DIN; network cables [orange] should be in a protective conduit).
