Hello.
The screed has already been laid throughout the entire house, except in the shower areas of the bathrooms where it was left out. It would be better if the tiler does that.
The screed in the house was a fast-drying type, which according to the screeder’s cm measurement has been ready for covering for 10 days. Functional heating and covering-ready heating have been documented accordingly by the plumber.
Due to construction delays, screed could only be applied in the shower areas yesterday, at least on the ground floor. Now the screed is in the shower area of the ground floor bathroom. It is Quick-Mix B03 screed/concrete, according to the packaging. The tiler said that the heating can already be running at 25 degrees flow temperature during the application of the screed. Now I have read online that screed should always rest for several days before the flow temperature is gradually increased, so from my point of view the heating should be completely off.
I am a bit unsure about what to do or whether I should just let the tiler proceed.
The next question would be after how many days the flow temperature of the heating should be increased. The tiler said he would tell me in due time. Although he also wants to start with the wall tiles in 2 days. For the previously laid screed throughout the house, I received a heating protocol with corresponding temperatures and days, which was stored in the heating system and was carried out accordingly.
Could you please share your opinion on this?
