Right, I really hadn't had any coffee yet... If I was too pushy then sorry.

One does not have to respond to everything. It is just as says: You with your renovator nickname suggest something... that was probably intended. (Whether you are it or not, the expert) However, the OP simply does not see a problem, and your arguments about the kitchen furniture needed to be corrected.

I am reluctant to involve myself in such "personal disputes," but I am seriously puzzled by your statements and "attacks" on his remarks. The latter are merely to be understood as such, so that the OP considers them in his deliberations!?

Aren't you usually the one who, for example, rightly (!) points out deficiencies in a planned floor plan, even though an OP might express enthusiasm and satisfaction with his planning several times in his initial post!? Especially you would not leave enthusiasm uncommented, even though the "OP simply does not see a problem," and might thereby blindly lead him into his misfortune?

Do you not see any parallels in the perspectives here, that the renovator is simply pointing out important points which, from his perspective, should be taken into account!? Where is the problem or why must it become personal here? Incomprehensible.

You are right about that. But I rarely rule anything out; instead, I try to come up with a Plan B for the original poster. You certainly can't say that here.

Half the living space is not bad, but good! Better 1.99m than 2.00m. Less property tax :)

Just a quick info, we have dropped out of the bidding process. I had set a pain threshold which was unfortunately exceeded. That's how it went, but oh well.
