Hello, our air-to-water heat pump Elco aerotop Split 07 cycles every 30 minutes. A hydraulic balancing has been done. In addition, I have disconnected all ERR and removed the actuators. I have carried out a thermal balancing to the best of my knowledge. However, the longest heating circuits were not fully opened in the process. I suspect that the heat pump is oversized and it then gets too warm for us. Since the heating curve is already set to the minimum. I have attached a picture where all data from the last week is recorded. From this, I have also deduced that the heat pump currently cycles every 30 minutes. In addition, the flow rate remains identical whether the pump is running or not. It must have been cycling since installation, as there are already over 10,000 cycles on the meter after 2 years. I suspect that it is all due to the settings. Therefore, I list a few settings and general data below.
146 sqm, 2 persons, single-family house, no basement, underfloor heating, ventilation system with heat recovery, photovoltaic system, insulation practically KfW 40 (without claimed subsidy).
Heat pump operation: eco plus
Flow temperature correction + 2 degrees
Pump operation modulating
Max pump PWM 100
Min pump PWM 70
Hot water 48 degrees
Set hot water temperature minimum 43 degrees Hot water is only heated at midday.
No night setback.
Silent mode set (reduction to 70% of power due to noise)
Bypass valve open, see picture
Heating curve 0.2 (0.2 to 1.0 possible)
Buffer tank:
Activation of buffer charging: off (should it be like this?)
Buffer tank hysteresis 5 degrees
Storage set temperature 40 degrees
Buffer charging type is partial charge
Buffer heating hours: 0 (for almost 2 years)
Buffer charges: 0
Buffer temperature 23°
During operation, the system shows the following values. As I have already been told here, it is strange that the hot gas has such a low temperature.
Evaporator temperature 0
Suction gas temperature 2
Hot gas temperature 28
Condenser 24
Compressor 23 Hz
Speed 625
What can be adjusted here, or is a technician inspection indispensable?
Below are my heating circuits with the lengths and current flow rates.
In parentheses are my settings from last winter. Why are the flow rates so changed (especially upstairs)? Is this due to the settings of the heat pump?
Ground floor:
WC 49 meters flow 1.0 (1.0)
Office 59 meters flow 1.3 (1.5)
Hallway 45 m flow 0.5 (0.6)
Utility room 40 m flow 0.4 (0.4)
Kitchen 84 m flow 1.0 (1.1)
Living right 89 m flow 1.9 (1.6)
Living left 106 m flow 1.7 (1.6)
Upper floor:
Bathroom 100 m flow 2.6 (1.9)
Child 1 103 m flow 1.1 (1.4)
Hallway 16 m flow 0.3 (0.6)
Bedroom 67 m flow 0 (0.5)
Dressing room 34 m flow 0 (0.6)
Child 2 88 m flow 1.5 (1.4)
