I don't understand the objection. We're also planning a 12 sqm bathroom and a space-saving bathtub. First, we like it better visually, and secondly, the upper body is not so cramped then. But we don't want the whole bathtub to be bigger because my wife baths 4-5 times a week, and later the children will too; that's just a waste of water.

Just take a look at the bathroom. "Imbalance" has already been used for the whole house. That word is chosen diplomatically well. If you are planning that, that's good. But here no bathtub is planned, here a seating area is planned.

On slopes, what a layman calls one to three floors can easily be legally clear two floors.

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Note: The plans here are our "markups" of the draft planning, so that we can place the furniture etc. freely and try things out. The fireplace is actually missing, that was our mistake.

We are unsure about our windbreak, how or in which direction we can enlarge it and what size would actually be sufficient. We ourselves will mostly use the lower entrance, mainly because of the connection to the garage, and if we ever have a stroller, it will also be stored in the basement, since due to the slope and some steps it is very cumbersome to get it to the front door. So if the upper entrance is only used by visitors, how big should we plan it then?

We understand the objection about the children's rooms not being the same size. Due to our personal situation, we are only expecting one child, but we want to have a fallback solution for possible eventualities.

The windows in the attached view are smaller than in our drawings (exception: kitchen) and we are unsure which sizes would be better now. In addition, the bathroom window next to the shower will be made of frosted glass so that neighbors (who currently do not yet exist) cannot admire us in full glory. :p

The situation in the hallway on the upper floor is not ideal, that is true. The space-saving bathtub should not be a space-saver but simply a bathtub in this shape. A normal, narrow bathtub is too small for us and we no longer want a corner bathtub as we currently have in the rental apartment.

About the pictures:
- Outdoor graphic: Please disregard the balcony railing on the left side. Here, soil will be added and the terrace will be connected directly.
- Two pictures show the property uphill and downhill. The view downhill faces southeast.
- The aerial photo (north-oriented) shows the approximate building envelope and a possible future property boundary in case we decide to sell part of it. The driveway is still missing here but will be built along the lower property line.

Feel free to take a look at everything and tell us what you think.

Another point that currently concerns us: most window manufacturers have their own house brands. But we have little to no experience with these brands, and the more we read about them, the more questions arise. Visiting window studios is also not easily possible at the moment. We see less of a problem with the standard windows – but who delivers proper lift-and-slide doors and at the same time such panoramic windows as for the kitchen? Does every manufacturer do that?

Since one should also be familiar with their systems, it’s rather good if window manufacturers don’t collect too colorful a bouquet of manufacturers, moreover many profiles are licenses from Schüco or Kömmerling anyway. Regarding large and street elements, I generally recommend aluminum as the material. Your kitchen window with an impressive total width of six and a half meters will have to be multi-part anyway. "My" (former) window factory was one of the few that could process up to six meters in one piece. But I could imagine that one or another superlative will be put to the test anyway, or do you have a blank checkbook from the central bank?
