That you prefer them is your right... but that does not mean that they are unconditionally recommendable.

Thank you for the clarification. Everyone should choose what suits them. In my case, that would be the already mentioned LED. That the installation space fits my conditions.

I installed 230V spotlights that have a built-in driver and are therefore only about 27mm thick. And if the driver inside ever breaks, it is replaced; at 5€ each, that's bearable. But the Brilon ones also look interesting.

But regarding the same: You only have 24mm cavity, not 30mm?

Ours have only been in use for 3 years, but except for one Chinese bulb, we have not had any failures to report...
