Hallway (Entrance) - Which tile color did you choose and what size?

the title basically says it all. I’m curious about how your hallway/entrance area is designed. What color are the tiles (if tiled) and what format is laid?

Many entrance areas don’t have a window. Maybe a small (or large) side panel that is satinato, as well as the narrow light cutout in the front door. Therefore, I would assume that a dark floor is rather unsuitable, better something lighter so that the room doesn’t get too dark?

No tiles, I don't like that. Light vinyl. Rest see photo. We didn't want frosted, want to see who is at the door. There's nothing to spy on here in the hallway.

Our hallway is very bright in the entrance area (2 clear glass side panels on the door, and a floor-to-ceiling window "around the corner"). However, the hallway downstairs is very long and has a T-shape with a large coat area and leads into darkness (a hillside house where the rear part of the basement lies in the slope). Therefore, we also decided on something lighter. Currently typical light concrete-look tiles. The size is 60x120. The hallway is 2.35 m wide in the entrance area. The narrow leg of the T is 1.15 m wide, the wide leg (with the coat area) 1.85 m. I would always choose sizes in coordination with the room size. Therefore, I find general size recommendations difficult. Forcing large formats now, which are then cut in small rooms, I find neither nice nor sensible. Colors should of course also be coordinated with other fixtures like stairs and doors.
