Hello everyone,
we would like to build a house in NRW in the not too distant future. We have heard that there are banks that accept foreign assets as collateral. Does anyone have experience with this?
We own a plot of land in India that was valued at just under €40,000 this year. Additionally, we have saved about €10,000. That is not very much, of course. The question is only whether the assets in India are of any interest to German banks at all and whether they would count them as "equity"...
Has anyone ever heard anything about this?
We appreciate any kind of response.
Thank you very much!
