Exactly, that's what I meant by that ;)

Best regards

There probably aren’t many threads on this topic; is it because geothermal heat pumps, especially heating coils, are not yet so popular, or is it just a bunch of rubbish???? In other words, are geothermal heat pumps discouraged???

In a forum like this, you would expect to come across something like this.
We will not commission the aforementioned company. The gut feeling was already bad, and the conversation at the end of the show was too.

I imagine it’s quite complicated with such a system. But I don’t have to understand everything completely; that’s what the heating engineer is for, isn’t it?

I would be glad if there were more experience reports here.

There is plenty of information on the subject of geothermal heat pumps!
If the framework conditions are right, a heat pump is a very good alternative to conventional heat generators.
One would think so, but unfortunately that is often not the case! Usually there is insufficient dimensioning. Very often significant professional deficiencies can also be found.
Anyone who wants to be sure should assign the calculation/dimensioning to a sales-independent technical building services planner.

Tomorrow we have an appointment with 2 heating engineers, where we will get advice regarding [Erdkollektoren]. We want to operate these collectors using a photovoltaic system. And what we do not feed in, we will sell to an electricity provider.

Which heat pump manufacturers would you recommend?

The manufacturer is initially secondary; first, the actual demand (capacity, energy) for heating and hot water should be determined. Then the source can be sized and subsequently the manufacturer or device selected. When equivalent, e.g., regarding price, the control system is often the selection criterion.

NB: How sensible is it to put a horse before the cart?
