If the house is only 10 years old, unfortunately there is only a claim to an energy consumption certificate:mad:.

If it is a energy demand certificate, all the better :)

What an energy consumption certificate is worth, we surely know! ;)

What is the difference between a consumption certificate and a demand certificate? What do you get for a new building and what should roughly be stated there?

For a new building, you initially receive an Energy Saving Ordinance certificate based on the demand for the building application. After completion of the construction work, an Energy Saving Ordinance-certificate is issued based on the demand of the constructed building. Normally, the results should be identical! ;) In most cases, a curiosity already begins here, because the date of the certificate and the certificate is usually identical! ;) A fitting sign of neglected construction supervision! Best regards

A demand certificate is created based on the energydemand. That means all components of the building envelope (walls, roof, windows, etc.) and the system technology are energetically assessed. Actual indoor and outdoor temperatures as well as the heating behavior of the user are completely disregarded in the calculation. There is, so to speak, a standard user.

The consumption certificate only shows the actual consumption. And since the residents have heating behaviors that sometimes differ greatly, the consumption certificate is of little significance.

That doesn't sound like much money. Have you tested that for over a year, including winter operation? You should also include the energy consumption of the ventilation system in the balance. Does it run continuously at a constant rate, on-off, or speed-controlled? How big is the motor in such a ventilation system?
