What is the difference between the consumption certificate and the demand certificate?
A demand certificate is created based on the energy
demand. That means all components of the building envelope (walls, roof, windows, etc.) and the system technology are energetically assessed. Actual indoor and outdoor temperatures as well as the heating behavior of the user are completely disregarded in the calculation. There is, so to speak, a standard user.
The consumption certificate only shows the actual consumption. And since the residents have heating behaviors that sometimes differ greatly, the consumption certificate is of little significance.
