Just a very modest question, which "advisors" are supporting you? The architect of your general contractor? Or only the salespeople? If yes, they will push a cheapest-made gas condensing boiler on you regardless of the actual need + a standard solar thermal system.

Best regards

Hello €uro

well, then please enlighten us poor ignorant people
§9 only states that one can do without the solar thermal system if it means unreasonably high costs (what is unreasonable is not further explained) - but solar thermal systems are state of the art, so reasonable.
Or in the case of listed buildings / public buildings - neither of which applies here...

Under what circumstances can I waive the 15% rule??

Best regards
Micha

Hello,

Sorry, I was just dealing with an expert opinion according to §9.
What was meant was the annex to the EEWG (VI 1b) regarding replacement measures according to §7 No.2:

"...the respective requirements to be met for the specific building regarding thermal insulation of the building envelope according to the Energy Saving Ordinance in its current version are undercut by at least 15%"

In my opinion, the better solution, because the best energy is the one that is not needed in the first place. So, invest the money for a solar thermal system into better insulation instead. It requires neither a pump nor control, and the position of the sun also does not matter.

Best regards.

Hello everyone,

I don't believe this was the answer to the architect's comment.

The 15% according to the architect refers to § 5 Abs. 1, "that the heat energy demand must be at least 15% from renewable energies."

The question from Lexus was therefore not about replacement measures, which of course are possible according to the [Erneuerbare-Energien-Wärmegesetz].

So either 15% from renewable energies or decide on the replacement measures.

Hello Nobert Koch,

thank you very much for your reply. Finally something that I also wanted to know.
Can I also prove the 15% with a wood-burning stove or only with a pellet stove?

Thanks again for your reply!

Hello Lexus, You probably mean a tiled stove. If so, then only in conjunction with water jackets, which are also connected to the heating system via a buffer storage tank. (Simply put). An energy consultant can and may not include only a tiled stove or a pellet stove as so-called supplementary stoves in their calculation. Regards Norbert
