Hello everyone,
I need your expertise. I wanted to install a garden water meter and assumed – since I had one before – that it would be quite easy to do this with an attachable meter at the outdoor tap. However, I inquired here at the municipal utility company and they do not allow such meters – even with sealing – as a rule. Instead, the meter must be firmly integrated into the house installation. So far, so good. What practical options are there if the piping in the house does not provide for this (the outdoor tap is located normally on the ground floor and there is no separate outlet in the basement where a meter could be installed, otherwise all other consumers on the ground floor would also be counted). The outdoor tap itself is a frost-proof valve from Kemper – is there maybe a way to integrate a meter there? Thanks in advance for your help!
