We have a metal shed in gray from an Austrian manufacturer (B...t). It is also sold, for example, through hardware stores. I saved 15% with a voucher. Quite expensive but also super stylish if you don’t want wood.

We have had a metal shed from Biohort in the house we have been renting for 5 years. It looks neat and the quality seems to be quite good. No rust, no fading of the paint (baked enamel). For our house construction, we are using one from Biohort again. They are also available at OBI. And they occasionally have -20% promotions. Best regards, Andreas

in the old rental place there was a new garden shed. after not even 1 year it was already completely ruined and warped. it was a really cheap piece. would try to get something decent. the building materials store near us sells e.g. "joda", which offers decent garden houses and stuff.

I built such a shed myself more than 20 years ago and believe that anyone can do it (except for my brother-in-law ). It was not rocket science, I still like it (and my wife does too!) today, and I will build something like that again in our new house. You only need a construction plan, the necessary tools, time, and a helper. However, I only needed the latter to connect the prefabricated parts, which took a few minutes, and to pass up the roof tiles.

I know that, I have one like that too

But on the topic:
Since we have special requirements, we will probably build a small house ourselves.
We want a small lounge, a separate equipment room (for lawnmower and garden tools), and a wood shelter all in one. The whole thing matching the house with a shed roof.
Unfortunately, something like that is only available as a custom-made (for a lot, lot of money) or as a self-build. (I am grateful for contrary information)

I built mine myself. With proper planning, decent tools, and a helper, no problem. In the end, the house didn’t even cost a quarter of what the visually identical and technically similar (not "better," I would almost say) house would have cost as a kit, which admittedly is outrageously expensive. The assembly took less time than my neighbor needed for his kit, including the pretreatment of the wood. It was fun, too, and I was able to build it exactly as (big) as I wanted.
