I have also placed terrace pads / construction protection mats between the paving and the wood as insulation against rising damp.

I have to ask again here: I saw at t o o m that there are pads about 10x10x1cm. These - as seen in the picture there at t o o m - are placed under the substructure, meaning only pointwise?

The construction protection mat is available as a roll; if you choose this, surely you only place a strip lengthwise under the structure, not full-surface over the entire base area of the garden house, or is it?

Yes, the pads are great, I took those. You place them exactly under the support battens. It's perfect.

What kind of quantity of pads does one have to expect? Or how many cm apart do you place a pad?

I would have to make one tomorrow. So I think I attached one about every 40 cm.
