Regarding your cost question: What kind of material do you want to use? For 1 m2 of concrete paving, fully installed, you should expect about €25 - 30 (excl. VAT) (for better standard paving). However, this does not yet include the substructure and possibly the cutting. Substructure made of gravel about 15 cm thick, if only used for pedestrian traffic, should be estimated at about €12 - 15 (excl. VAT). Cutting for concrete paving is about €10 - 12 (excl. VAT). The wall is more difficult to estimate. If you choose local natural stone, then you are looking at about €135 per m2 of wall (excl. VAT). In addition, another gravel sub-base layer must be laid under the wall, and backfilling the wall with gravel is also recommended. Earthworks are always difficult to estimate. For this, you would need to know the exact m3 and whether the material can be reused or must be disposed of. Even though I have mentioned prices here, they can of course vary greatly. These are our local usual prices. Basically, you can roughly calculate about €100 per m2 of garden. And for you, it will be quite expensive because you want to move a lot of material.....
