Hello,

we are currently planning the construction of a garage. After some research, I would like to build a garage in timber frame construction myself. The exterior walls should then be plastered - visually matching the house. So far, I have only found one provider from southern Germany who offers something like this as a kit. My question is therefore whether anyone can share experiences from a similar project.
- Does anyone know manufacturers of garage kits in timber frame construction (no concrete and also no wooden garage (log garage))
- Or is it the structural engineer's task to determine the dimensions of the timber and their construction.
I have been searching for answers to this for a long time. Maybe there are experiences here.

Thanks and regards

System box or Unibox Sachsen. Just google it, both are available as kits.

Or go to the next carpenter and have them build the wooden stud walls including the roof structure there. You can then put it up yourself if you feel confident enough.

Hello,

thank you for the answers. The tip about Unibox things was very good. That's exactly what I was looking for. A first offer is already available.
Regarding the carpenter, that was exactly what my second question was aimed at. Who would create the structural analysis in such a case? Or, to put it differently, does the structural engineer tell me, for example, you have to manufacture elements with the wood and the dimensions ...?

Thanks and regards

The structural analysis is included with the prefabricated kits. As a tip, get an offer from the others as well. There was quite a big price difference for me.

Good evening, we are currently considering a carport or garage. The presented option also sounds interesting. What costs are to be expected here (manufacturing, delivery, installation)? Planning 4.50 m x 9 m including storage shed. Would be grateful for some information.
