If there is a development plan, it might specify building boundaries and only allow parking spaces within the buildable areas. If there isn't one, you no longer have to deal with the building authority, but depending on how your wastewater is calculated, you must inform the municipality of the change in sealed surfaces if you use paving stones.

You basically just want a winter storage for your boat? Calculate what the fun costs and what the next farmer wants as a parking fee if he takes it into his barn. Laminating and stuff you can forget about under such a carport in winter, too cold. For polishing and some painting work on the ship, it should be enough if the farmer puts the thing outside in March. In April it goes into the water and stays there until October....Karsten

I would never even think of storing my boat on the property. It's way too expensive and impractical – especially the transport, depending on the size.

Well, if it is a six meter 0.9 t trailer boat, then of course it is not a transport problem to the house. But also not to Bauer Petersen. So, before I spend a lot of money to make the property suitable for the boat, I would rather give Petersen 250,- parking fee. Karsten

Thank you for your answers. The boat is just under six meters long and weighs about 500kg. It is mainly used as a fishing boat. Of course, I had already thought of the idea of a barn. I come from the Ruhr area and unfortunately there are not many here. The only one I found was rented for 200€/month. Standard garages are too short and the longer ones often cost around 100€/month and are still far away. Now I do have an outdoor parking space for 40€/month, but it is also 20km away. So if I want to go on the water spontaneously, I need an hour just to get the boat and bring it back. I also do not have a home port with a berth and it is not worthwhile, as I fish in different waters. The space would be available on the property...
