Garage entrance area extension self-performance, which construction?

we are planning a single-family house with a large garage, but I will build the garage and the porch myself. So far, I have seen some examples of the garage and I think everything will work. However, I do not know how the construction of the porch that should lead over the entire width of the garage to the entrance of the house should be (wooden frame and aluminum cladding on the outside or completely made of aluminum???).

I would be happy if you could give me a few tips.

Is the extension planned to be cantilevered or integrated into the roof structure? If it is planned to be freestanding/cantilevered, aluminum will be the better and more durable option, since the wood, even if not directly exposed to the weather, must be treated or maintained every few years.

Thank you very much for the feedback. The construction will be freestanding, possibly a column next to the entrance. Do you have any ideas or a link on how the construction should look, I can't find anything on the internet. I imagined that an aluminum U profile would be screwed to the wall along the entire length and reinforcements would be placed every approx. 80cm in width, then everything would be clad. It would of course be better if I had some examples for this, if someone has already done something like this themselves, I can't imagine that everyone buys it ready-made.
