I don't want to talk about that... I think 2 or even 3 weeks. But I then directly installed a new drive.

If you can live with it.... I prefer to support local providers and usually receive better service, etc.

To my ears, Teckentrup is the bigger name, Hörmann is more in the (high price) consumer segment. Are there even "local providers" – meaning those who don’t just install a big-name product as white label?

I see more of a difference in shaft instead of chain, that is a "professional" version. Unfortunately, the original poster doesn’t reveal anything about the overall project, but I rather suspect a single-family house – do you need that there? Back to the simple original question:

For question 1: they vary not only with the width. What do you even want: sectional door, roller door, wicket door, which look?
For question 2: how do you park anyway: same or opposite direction, with or without a rolling aisle for trash bins or children’s vehicles in between?
[you see: it makes sense not to squirrel away details here, but to present your project as a whole].

The Hörmann dealer is 5 km from me and the Hörmann factory 20 km. It hardly gets more local than that.

We have plenty of Berry gates around Arnold-Georg-Stadt, and even more FEFI. From my window manufacturer chapter, I know that there are many White Label gate manufacturers, so it is easy for the builder to get the impression of a "local gate builder." The same applies to fences, by the way.

I am abusing the thread once to also ask about the height. With a width of 5.5m, is a comfortable use still possible at 212.5cm, or should one really go for 225cm?
