I am misusing the thread once to also ask about the height. With a width of 5.5m, is a comfortable use still possible at 212.5cm, or should one really go for 225cm?

A question so completely detached from the (because unknown to us) object in question is difficult to answer. I do not understand the reference to the width: do you mean whether the gate becomes too heavy at 225? - that would rather have been the question about the comfort / ease of operation.

Rather the consideration of whether one can still enter and exit there without any problems with cars of today's size.
