Well, if the "rest" of them are equally "professionally competent," you can still expect some surprises! Hopefully, he has sufficiently taken into account the heat loss below the heating level in the underfloor heating.

Our heating installer said, however, that he wouldn’t do it because then the garage would be very cold, as it would be completely outside the thermal envelope!
He says we don’t actually lose that much energy from above!

My tip: better wait until your planner has finished his vacation. Or just call him. And definitely don’t listen to your heating engineer..........

so....after our site manager is back.... The interior walls as well as the ceiling of the garage have been insulated! Statement site manager: of course you have to insulate the ceiling too!!!
