I have no idea what mine costs :-( I have an overall offer and did not ask for individual items.

Dimensions: 230cm (door alone is 115 cm) wide 230 cm high.

My gut feeling tells me 3000 Euros? German manufacturer ,, Brandt „

In this style This is not exactly ours

Thank you. I did not know Brandt.

But the reason - and I was obviously unclear about this in my first post - of my thread is to ask which of the three providers - Groke, Köster, Hörmann - is definitely to be recommended/not recommended.

Köster is okay, we almost chose it too. The top priority was that the door has a Fuhr lock, which already ruled out most options. The second priority was that it should be a door that no one else has. I just hate those standard doors you see in 95% of new buildings. In the end, we chose a Securidoor wooden front door. It has a scratch-resistant panel coating (HPL 4 mm) and surely nobody else has such a door. But it was also expensive. Otherwise, we would have taken the Köster door, so I'm giving a recommendation for it now. Those were both-sided wing-overlapping and triple glazed and priced exactly at the same level as the Securidoor door (6000 with side panel). Ultimately, it’s like everywhere: if you want to pay as little as possible, you get corresponding quality. At 2000 euros for a front door, regardless of the brand, you shouldn’t be surprised, for example, with aluminum, if the door warps and doesn’t close properly (metal and temperature fluctuations...). That’s why we ultimately chose a wooden door. By the way, you can also find cheap doors at 1001 Tür inklusive Fundgrube, where you can get returns very cheaply if you are still flexible with the measurements. They also have the bigger names in their program.

We have the „Baumarkt-Ramsch-Tür“ from Hörmann and are very satisfied so far. We previously had a door from Biffar, very good quality but also very expensive. Now we have the Thermosafe from Hörmann, it does everything a door should, doesn’t stick, closes wonderfully and can be wiped clean easily and without streaks, and we are also satisfied with the soundproofing, there has been nothing to complain about after a year.

Best regards

We will have two front doors in the future, one from Schüco in country house style and a side entrance door from Groke from the Express Aktion series. The door is made of aluminum and RC2 certified and costs 2395 €. There is also the Premium Aktion door from Groke, which is overlapping on both sides, for well under 4000 €. "Unfortunately," we liked the Schüco country house door so much that we decided against the significantly cheaper Groke door.

What is a fuhr lock?

We also have overlay wings from the outside. From the inside, there was a 600 euro net surcharge for a slightly better appearance, but I saved on that.

They have already complained about the dimensions but still provide a warranty.
4 hinges and 235 cm high. The side entrance door will be a solid door.
My wife didn't like the others, although it is clear that a pleated blind is always half-high.
