Foil at the base broken

Hello everyone, we have had a (very nice) Ikea kitchen for 8 years. Strangely, the front is no longer available - I don't understand why, but whatever. When installing a dishwasher, the foil of the plinth under the appliance was damaged. However, this foil is no longer used. Aluminum color, matte. Now there is only steel color. That is noticeably darker and we don't like it as much. The alternative would be to have the entire plinth front redone in steel color (or have it done, since I am basically the "anti-handyman"). My question or request is, where can one still get this foil and maybe have it applied? Or does anyone else have an idea on how to solve this problem. Many thanks Best regards, Steffen

Do you still have the invoice or do you know what the baseboard is called?

the invoice is definitely somewhere.. however, I was at Ikea with the board and the friendly gentleman said that this color is no longer available and the boards are covered with the foil at the factory...

My alternatives would be,

... at the hardware store you can get adhesive foil. But the chance that it has the same shade is practically zero.

... buy a new baseboard. 8 years is a long time and a new baseboard costs about 12 euros per 2.20 meters. And even the most inexperienced handyman can probably cut a baseboard with a jigsaw, right????

Do you have the "old" silver Ikea Faktum plinth? If yes, I still have a bit of it ;)
