Floor plan single-family house city villa – modern architectural design

Even if money doesn’t play a (significant) role for you, I would have planned the house completely differently if you’re mostly just the two of you. Far too much dead and unused space to accommodate "guests" for short moments – even if they are your own children.

But that’s off topic. Says the part-time father of three girls (+ two children of my current partner).

Thanks for your opinion. For me, it is out of the question in the planning that every child gets a room, even if they only use it 2-3 days a week. What would you have changed?

If you only put them in front of the tablet or TV from the start, then that's true.
But as I said... part-time father... they only get snippets of everyday life and usually have no clue.

Much has already been written. I really hope the estimate is accurate. It's not just the house, but also enormous earthworks. The land is being worked on so intensely that it really costs a lot of money. Several levels make the garden interesting. You can divide it into rooms and areas. The large lawn is boring. Especially with 7 people, a level for retreat and quiet is quite nice.

Depending on the hobby, space is needed in the children's room. I would—especially with 5 children's rooms—consider whether they really need to be that big, or if there could be a youth playroom instead. Depending on the kids' interests. Difficult to plan a house that fits a family with maybe a small child and part-time teenagers. The cabin is partly empty - tendency increasing. With you, I somehow think of American floor plans. As wiltshire already wrote, the living space is sparsely furnished for all 7 heads, and honestly, when does the first friend come along? For 2 or with a baby, it is almost too big to be cozy.

Yeah, sure… I see my children almost every day. But it's good that you know my life (by the way, full-time father for the first 11 years).
