We have since discarded the draft; it seems too cramped at the bottom, or we would have to make too many compromises there.

Regarding [Kinderzimmer 1], I would actually have considered that okay. Mine was the same when I was younger. I didn’t find it terrible.

Maybe it will be a bit bigger, or we are still waiting for the draft from the carpenter. Maybe we will like that one better overall.

The plan here is fixed as it is and cannot be changed. Therefore, it is also not in the running.

Was there a reason for that? – With construction already started or approved, I would have understood that, but not with a plot in your possession. Or did the previous owner inquire with the provider? – such an offer would actually only be understandable if the provider wanted to avoid writing off incurred planning costs for a specific house.
