That would be important, because only in this way can it be assessed whether a floor plan makes sense or if you are planning a window directly facing the garage wall. Take a large sheet of paper and draw the plot to a scale of 1:100. Then create corresponding scale-appropriate templates for the house (windows must be drawn in), garage, terrace, garden shed, etc., and try out a bit how the different variants look.
