@TE tell us more. Why the apartment solution and not a semi-detached house? Are children planned or not? Some of the children's rooms are planned as offices? Can you imagine an unconventional layout/room division? Which room would you like more of and in which apartment?

With the bay window on the upper and ground floor, an additional room will be created, either a children's room or an office. So far, we have assumed that a semi-detached house would fit the plot even worse than this. We welcome any idea.

I don't remember anymore. It was a narrow long plot of land. Fire protection wall, discussions about what is allowed e.g. through skylights etc. I always have to think of your village nearby. Narrow long plots, house, utility buildings, barns all lined up on the boundary

I'm not so sure about that. The building services are brighter than the office/kids' room. The staircase has daylight, the bathroom does not. One apartment only has a balcony. The garden is part of the planning, it is living space, especially with children. What kind of roof have you planned?
