Actually, I was just about to write that views, especially of the ground contour, would be quite nice. The builder is always in the obligation to provide in this forum.

I would start over, reorganize, and reconsider this "from the garage to the basement".

Do you really find the floor plan that bad? I am considering placing the entrance to the east and reorganizing again. I am open to all suggestions.

Will an architect still be involved?

Of course, one will still be involved. I would first like to have rough offers created by various companies based on my design.

With the height details, I still can't imagine how the driveway with garage to the basement level is supposed to look and at the same time a ground-level exit from the main floor is supposed to be possible.

I will take photos of the neighboring house, then it will probably be clearer.

I would consider that a huge mistake. Trees are simply too useful (climate, shade, noise, visual and wind protection) to cut down even one too many. Cutting is quick, but it takes half a lifetime or more to correct.
