Tell me, who planned that? There are quite a few amateur examples of how not to do it. That was no architect.

very interesting. yes, the study/office with the entrance from the living room is indeed "borderline" but not completely problematic.

Hey Yvonne, unfortunately yes. you can gladly write to me which layman examples you mean?

What is the purpose of the extension if there are to be living spaces in the basement?

It would be too much traffic in the living room for me and the way to the kitchen too long. The window in the kitchen by the sink with a sill height of 87.5? How deep is the countertop? If it is supposed to be a tilt-and-turn window, the faucet will be in the way. The closet in the master bedroom blocks the middle window. The sinks next to the bedroom bed?

Building in the 2nd row, the front house and the 2nd house must have a common building structure. So it’s house-extension-extension-house. At least this way you have more space between the houses.
I would really like to build a detached house here, but if the building authority doesn’t allow it...

And of course it would be better to build without a basement if the house could be 20sqm larger. But it can’t! So heating, technology, laundry room go into the basement, and you can fill it up immediately, and also accommodate a guest room, etc. there.

I agree with you. So kitchen, where the sink is: the window can be completely removed here (if you don’t make a passage to the entrance area), if yes, then only a narrow one! Master bedroom: they removed the 3 windows from the first draft. I would make the 2 windows side by side in the middle there. The children’s room to the left then has one.
