Do I understand correctly that your car parking spaces are located at the southern end of the property, thus practically reducing the garden there and you always have to walk a few meters to the house? Because of the mobility restrictions, I would of course also think immediately about carrying the groceries. Is parking directly at the house on your brother's left side? I am also a fan of the western evening sun, which you can better bring into the living rooms in the left house. Of course, it's also a matter of taste, but if I were you, I would probably suggest to my brother to swap the halves.

Hi, everything correctly understood. But actually, the plan I hopefully stick to is to ride the bike almost all the time. Then it goes past the house on the left onto the pedestrian/bike path that runs directly behind our house.

Then through a gate directly into the BikePort, from there it’s only a few meters to the entrance. Also, I don’t go directly into the store ... walking a few meters doesn’t hurt me – on the contrary. As long as that still works, I have to push that. And I hope the movement restrictions will decrease rather than increase. An optimistic look into the crystal ball ...

The alternative to the parking spaces in front would actually only be at the back right. Then I’d need a long wide driveway and there would be no space left for the stairs. So this option is excluded.
