Floor outlets (supply air) under sofa and desks?

Functionally, floor outlets are absolutely equivalent to wall or ceiling outlets with appropriate planning.

That would have been my next question. Originally, the system was planned with ceiling and wall outlets.

Here is the planning from the manufacturer and in green the outlets that we would now place on the floor (the sofa is schematic, it will have about 80cm distance from the left wall). Does this have to be replanned then (the exhaust outlets on the ceiling in the kitchen, pantry, and WC are present)?

I see no reason. You can do it like that without any concerns.

Partly even cheaper, because you can save on piping since two floors can be supplied on one level.

The system on the floor is usually a flat duct and that easily costs twice as much as the equivalent round pipe. The outlets are also significantly more expensive (plastic plate valve vs. metal cover).

The metal covers are, however, also significantly more homely than the plastic disc valves. Actually, this should be possible regardless of the pipe in a market economy.

I would not place the air outlets under the sofa. I think you can hear the airflow when, for example, lying on the sofa and you might also feel an airflow on your legs. We made sure that the air outlets are not directly at a seating area.

I also find these built-in yogurt cups utterly ugly... but that is my personal opinion. How does it actually look with the dirt around the exhaust air outlets and supply air inlets? Over time, these areas should become darker than the rest of the wall/ceiling due to the dirt particles transported with the air, right? You don’t see it on the floor because it is wiped/vacuumed. Or am I mistaken?
