Floor in the living area is damp / temporary solution sought

It's nice to hear a personal opinion, but I am more interested in advice on how to proceed.
I can only say something about the mold after I have removed the carpet. However, I already suspect that there is mold under the carpet.

As harsh as it sounds. But unfortunately, you can't really take such nonsense seriously. The only thing left is to find the cause of the damage; and not to wait another 1-2 years.

The building fabric does not get better by "hiding" it.

I am really sorry that I asked for support here in this forum. So far, not much has come except personal insults. Sorry for taking up your time. But I thought I was on an expert forum.
