Floor in the hallway - vinyl, tiles, granite?

I would like to disagree with Fußkalt - until now. I am still waiting for autumn.

You don't need to disagree, because this is a purely subjective experience. And yet tiles are always colder than wood, vinyl, or carpet. I certainly didn't want them throughout the whole house - for me it also has something to do with coziness, which I never find with tiles. We previously had tiles in the living and dining rooms - never again. My parents also have tiles everywhere on the ground floor - I never liked it.

My personal impression: cold underfoot (tested at room temperature approx. 24 °C) and hard, unpleasant walking feeling. Nevertheless, we have laid tiles in the ground floor hallway, utility room, and bathrooms and will certainly be able to live well with them. At the same time, I am very glad not to have tiles in the other rooms.
