meant

We live in modern times and therefore I thought that plug and play has also made its way into house installations.

So, what I mean is that I do the sink connections with flexible lines. For dishwashers, this has long been standard.

If the kitchen is changed in a few years, the connections can be easily adjusted to the new geometry of the furniture.
Simply without soldering, welding, sawing or cutting as before.

Your experiences with flexible lines in the kitchen?

From the angle valve to the fitting? That has been standard for what feels like 100 years and it works...

I mean steel braided hoses, not plastic pipes with compression fittings. From the supply line to the fitting.

And she definitely meant .

It's proven. What's the problem?

Whether they prove themselves or whether there can be, for example, problems with [kalkhaltigem Wasser]. Not every material reacts the same to another, and lime does not get along well with aluminum, as we know.

I think none of us really understand your question. Flexible hoses have been running from the connections in the wall to the faucet since, like, 1887. And yes, they have proven themselves. They are offered in standard lengths in every hardware store. However, if you mean that maybe several meters need to be bridged, the problem is not the flexible hose but the drainage (slope, around the corner, etc.).
