Hello everyone...
I urgently need some help.
In the garden, I want to install a wire mesh fence on an L-block wall. For this, I have bought angle base plates, which are fixed to the wall with anchor bolts. The shortened fence posts are then "slipped over" these, to which the double rod mats will later be attached. So far, so good.
Now, when I slip the fence posts onto the base plates, they are not really secure and could simply be lifted off later when the fence is standing.
How can I best fix the posts to the base plates so that they can no longer be pulled off and the fence is really secure? There are no drill holes or anything. Moreover, the metal is really thick (for my standards). The metal of the post is about 1-2mm thick, that of the base plate about 4mm.
Do you perhaps have a tip for me and know the best way to do this? I can’t find any information online. I am grateful for any help.
Best regards
Hannah
