§632 a Building Code vs. separate agreement, which presumably does not exist in this regard. In the absence of a separate agreement, what is regulated by the Building Code applies.

It would be more helpful if no completely wrong nonsense were spouted here based on gut feeling.

It was written that the payment of 50% in advance and 50% after completion was agreed upon in writing.

Actually, the related information is happily mixed up. The last status was that with 50% prepayment, x % discount may be deducted and nothing else was regulated. From this, it cannot be concluded that the remainder may only be invoiced after full completion.

I don't want to predict, but I can vividly imagine the process and the agreements.

Even if a payment plan is agreed upon, the purchaser may stop payments if the service provided is defective.

it's not that simple. and it's also not very sensible to bring out the big guns now. as has been said several times, call the electrician and come to a reasonable solution for both with him. the electrician doesn't want to deal with collections, neither do you. so why force it?
