First apartment - what size??

I would probably decide on something small now (but still make sure that it has 3 rooms, so that you could theoretically live there temporarily with 1-2 small children). I would only build the house with child(ren), because you suddenly pay attention to completely different things and also see other needs that you couldn’t understand before.
And remember, life can sometimes hold interesting twists. It doesn’t always have to be a breakup, even an unplanned pregnancy can make quite a difference.
Just see if something suitable and not overpriced comes your way, maybe you’ll be among the lucky ones who only build when prices become more reasonable again.
