Yes, child benefit has been income-independent since 2012.

Ah, that brings back memories of how I had to argue with the authorities back then because of the income limit and explain their own implementation rule to them...

No offense You can't help it, but this is once again a blunder by politics, where state funds are misallocated. My answer: save! At 21, one should devote oneself to other interests than settling down with all obligations. Child benefits should not be included anyway, it seems to finance the vacation well. And yes: double questions don’t help here at all, rather annoying users.

Thank you very much first of all for your honest answers. When would you at the earliest consider buying? If the children are already there? Child benefit is given due to a multi-stage education. I posted the contribution in the wrong section back then.
