Fingerprint: entrasys vs. ekey

The two most well-known fingerprint systems for the front door are entrasys and ekey.

Does anyone know both systems and can anyone make a statement about which one they think is the better system?

Currently, ekey (still) is not fun with multiple scanners when using the current series. ekey has developed quite far off the mark regarding the demand. However, ekey works excellently individually, as long as you don’t use the old line scanners.

Not entirely true. The NET version works perfectly with multiple scanners. However, it is overdimensioned for single-family homes. Unfortunately, the new scanner generation is currently not available with RFID.

That's why I didn't mention it, this is about a front door. From experience, the average home builder might want to expand it by 1-2 scanners eventually and then fails due to the current product policy.
