Finding the right staircase - what options do I have?

Hello everyone, we are now really almost at the end of our planning - the only thing that doesn't quite satisfy us yet is the staircase. :-)

According to our architect, another staircase is not feasible due to the dimensions - I don't want to accept that just yet, so I'm trying my luck here :)

We would prefer a U-shaped staircase with one or more intermediate landings - that would really be our dream.

Now the question to you - do you see a possibility that I / we don't see?

... if you change the staircase, a completely different floor plan is needed. The house would have to be deeper, larger, or with a staircase bay window... you usually tell your architect in advance what you want ;)

Staircase with landing requires more space and I do not see that in the floor plan.

A different staircase means a different arrangement of the rooms upstairs as well as downstairs.

Different staircase = different floor plan. I agree with my predecessors on that.
