Ok understood!

The foundation slab is included in the house price. I have the utilities in the additional costs. The terrace already exists and is shared with the parental home. And I can take care of other small things on the side. Therefore, there won't be major costs involved.

To add something about your €1100 and special repayments.

I repay €1085 monthly, so a similar amount. For the first approximately 12-15 months after starting to pay off the loan and after the house was completed, I was chronically broke. Really broke. At the end of the month, there was always a zero. I also started to have slight doubts whether I had taken on too much or if I was simply too stupid to calculate. In fact, you still have to buy so much "stuff," lamps, lawnmower, flowers, etc. I could make an endless list here.

Now, in the last 12 months, I have been able to put aside between €700-800 monthly for the special repayment. OK, there was a pay raise involved, but once you've bought all the little stuff, things really start to improve rapidly.

Correct, in the first years people often skip and then purchase many new things. For example, new furniture.

I have the advantage that devices and furniture are already available. Of course, more stuff will be added, but my wife-to-be is still working.

Either you have it or we have it, at least I have a knot in my head.

It's not like none of us work or have no furniture. In a new building, you don't exactly want to install the old lamps. A new kitchen with new technology delights the heart, a private terrace even more.
You seem to already own everything except the house. You probably have already laid the flooring and the entrance platform is already in place.
You can get back to me in a year or in between to let me know whether the 300,000 will be enough or if some unplanned craftsmanship will eat a hole in the budget from some sides. But then don't say we didn't warn you. Costs start from construction, not 2 years before.

Oh, right ... she is not allowed to be listed in the land register, but otherwise happy to contribute to the payments
