If possible, leave out the basement and in any case the double garage. Cars are built to sleep outside, it doesn't bother them.

This way you easily save 120,000 EUR.
If you build with a basement, you could shrink the house by 15-20% because all the technical equipment fits in the basement and you can also store a lot of stuff there that would otherwise have to go into cabinets in the house.

Then you can almost pay for the place in cash. Great, isn't it?

And preferably only 1 window per house wall, that saves extra. You do need daylight, but thanks to LED it costs almost nothing. :D (Let people build however they want…)

Don’t worry, with double-digit inflation over a longer period, most people (including civil servants at A13) will be significantly worse off soon. Your definition of luxury could therefore still change drastically… If deindustrialization hits us due to the politically imposed, much too high energy costs, then eventually the money available to distribute at the A-level civil servant salary will run out too….

That every thread must eventually drift into the conspiracy corner of the AfD, claiming that the Greens have a secret plan to destroy the industry...

It has been hitting for 50 years already, now perhaps a bit stronger - it may deal the death blow to many companies that have been barely surviving in recent years.
