It is always amazing what is considered expensive or cheap. Regensburg is such a great, vibrant city in the oh-so-expensive Bavaria. I find the €380/sqm very affordable. In the Stuttgart metropolitan area, that is unimaginable. In Esslingen or Fellbach, believe it or not, there are no decent plots under €1000/sqm. On the free market, mind you. Unfortunately, there has only been the free market for several years now, because in our region there is no longer any willingness to develop new residential areas on a significant scale. Therefore, we have put the single-family house plan on hold for now and instead, for example, last week dealt with a newly built five-room apartment (126sqm, no luxury!). Cost: €670k, plus x, of course...

Especially in RGB, the gradient from city to district is quite extreme. However, out in the countryside there, the further you go, even fox and hare say good night. There is no public transport and no infrastructure either. There is no metropolitan region like, for example, around Munich, Nuremberg, etc..
