Counter question, what added value does your post have? None at all because you do not represent the majority.

It seems someone is a bit touchy. 1. I find it funny to answer a question with a counterquestion. 2. So a post only has added value if you represent the majority? How do you come up with that? That claim makes absolutely no sense.

And just as a side note, for the umpteenth time: I just wanted to hear the opinion of the users here on whether a subforum for "Finance/Assets" should be created so that the topics addressed have a fixed place.

You haven’t commented on this question at all yet, instead you pick something out of my post and add your two cents. If you want to participate sensibly and seriously, then answer the question concretely, as many already have. If not, then leave it.

A tendency toward the idea that it’s not needed can already be seen and that is perfectly fine.

In this sense ....

Regards

1. no, I’m not offended, I like discussing nonsense. Therefore I find it funny that your thread, which is not meaningful for the general public, is getting attention. 2. yes, there will always be niches and special cases like you. Why should one give a niche a podium? Household bookkeeping & analysis of consumption behavior come up again and again. After your student days, that wasn’t very pronounced at all. So you are a special species. 3. No subforum for asset building. Every citizen with a decent income should be able to save a few euros.

Hello Niloa,

I was thinking that the category "Finanzen/Vermögen" could be named, just a first suggestion.

Topics/questions that would be discussed in this category would primarily not be directly related to house construction but would lay a general foundation for it and also for afterwards. These topic areas could include the following:

[*]What savings rate is recommended? [*]Which insurances are necessary and important? [*]How much credit can one afford? [*]Keeping a household budget book [*]Retirement provision [*]Tips for building wealth [*]Tips for reducing debt [*]Organizing/optimizing finances [*]Tax returns / employee assessment [*]Investment opportunities? [*]etc...
There are many more questions/topics that can be covered and discussed in this category. Of course, there are other forums specifically for such topics, but I find that homeowners have a very different approach to this topic and that you can exchange ideas here among "like-minded people."

If you like discussing pointless things, then be my guest, but not with me. I will leave you to your beliefs and will not address your points any further, because besides pouring oil on the fire you do nothing. Let's agree to disagree!

too individual. One person has a saving rate of 30% because they hardly consume or have a very high net income, the other 5%.

Same with the topic of retirement provision and disability insurance. One has both, the other only one covered. Again, the home builder says what retirement provision for, I am building. Says a shady salesman BUT BUT, a house in old age can also become a burden because you have a small pension, need to renovate the house and cannot afford maintenance.

Disability insurance is very special, I am scared. Most of my colleagues have nothing because they say; And so what, I can already do some job in a wheelchair.

Do you notice?
