Fill the ground and create a base plate

We have received a building plot, unfortunately the plot is about 1.30 meters lower than the street level.

We would not want a basement, as the plot is located in a dead-end street with a slope (rainwater accumulation).

How would be the best way to proceed now with filling and creating strip foundations? How deep should one dig?

The base slab should be at least 30 cm higher than the street level.

The plot has 500 m2.

There will hardly be a height difference of one point thirty at the street edge and then be perfectly level (?).
500 sqm x 1.3 m = 650 cubic meters (plus allowance for compaction) – that will be expensive filling, plus retaining walls, drains and so on. I would take the given half cellar excavation.

Why the compulsion? It is not suitable for the property.

Are you building it yourself? Otherwise, the work of the craftsmen shouldn’t be your problem.

Why? For that, a waterproof (WU) basement will be built. It will be bone dry.

Stand on the property with your umbrella during heavy rain and observe the water, where it flows in, where it flows away, how long larger or smaller puddles remain. At 1.30m below the street, you could be the street drainage. After that, I would consider and have planning done.
