Feeling pressured into a contract, is that normal?

You don't sign something like that, especially not under pressure. If I were the OP, I would try to quickly gain ground and get out of the "pre-contract" with minimal damage. Even though it is sad that people repeatedly fall for such things, the saying still applies metaphorically: "Ignorance of the law excuses no one," in this case: "Ignorance does not protect from consequences." I can't understand that, on the one hand, prices, suppliers, delivery conditions, etc. are studied to death for every small item, but on the other hand, for a project that usually involves several hundred thousand euros, the signature is simply put on a document without even having proper time to read it, let alone to inform oneself beforehand.

I wrote exactly the same thing just 2 weeks ago. It feels like brainwashing to me, we are not normally like this and I read the termination notice and asked about it and he deceived us

well brainwashing ... as much as you like to look for the fault or intention elsewhere, you are the only one to blame because you signed something you do not understand. Everyone should have the contract reviewed. And everyone who understands something about it, protect yourselves from such clauses.

we didn’t know that it was a contract!!!!! it was presented to us as a non-binding offer and the Verbraucherzentrale in Mainz knew without explanation which company family it was because they deal with that there weekly!!!!

so only judge when you know the details

Hello,

An offer does not require a signature! You must have signed it because you were given the signal to hold the price until the end of the year ... I understand this all the less if I base it on your PM to me?

In my opinion, that will not help you. This group has had their contract documents not only dry-cleaned ... it critically depends on the exact wording of the reservation.

That one is right; even if you don’t like to hear it ... over time you will also admit to yourself that you acted rashly and thoughtlessly. I can only wish you that the reservation is also formulated in your favor, then the damage is reduced to the finding to check more carefully in the future _before_ signing a contract.

Best regards

DerDa and Bauexperte are absolutely right. An offer does not require a signature, and if I sign something that might involve a lot of money, I at least read it beforehand.
