Does anyone have ideas for our bathroom planning - it should be optimized.

What must stay:
Shower and toilet (will be enlarged to 1m depth)
Floor-to-ceiling window - number and arrangement can be changed.

Everything else is changeable:
Bathtub
Washbasin with countertop sink
etc.,

Anyone have an idea?

A sink by the toilet. Personally, I really can't understand how someone would want a door at the WC but no sink there. I hope the door always stays open. I would move the window and make the shower area as well as the WC deeper. Then add a sink.

A toilet behind a door without a washbasin? I don't find that very hygienic, I wouldn't do that.

I would definitely do it that way too ... If there is space, the toilet must be behind a door ... and you have to touch something first ... even the faucet.

The toilet is really located at the maximum distance from the sink. Hygiene aside, that's just impractical. How do the towels get within reach of the shower? Floor-to-ceiling windows in the bathroom, of course, take away space and are always shaded or equipped with privacy screens (pleated blinds, etc.). You can actually do without them; they have no added value. Or is it about the exterior appearance?

You only want a countertop basin once in your life, not again afterward. But you have to experience that yourself (or have someone else clean it).

In general, I find the bathroom rather unpleasant so far. A huge room with a bathtub placed somewhat prominently. However, the fixtures you often need (shower usually more often than bathtub, toilet) are somehow positioned subordinately. The corner behind the two doors is also wasted.

You can also comfortably turn on a faucet with your wrist or elbow; a locked door is not so easy to open. For me, it would also be impractical when cleaning the toilet if you have to walk through the entire bathroom to reach the faucet.
