Facades and zoning plans - Who decides if the color fits?

Hello, thank you very much for your previous answers. However, I am still not quite sure to what extent I can secure myself regarding our choice of facing bricks. (Without needing a full building permit.) Could one submit a request to the building authority, or is there something like building supervision? I would be very happy if someone has an idea.

Nice of you to ask. :) We are currently right in the middle of the shell construction. Klinker are in progress, roofing will come in the next few days. We have sent our building authority an email for each facing brick with the designation, pictures, manufacturer website, and some text/reasoning from us why this klinker and how it fits into the local image. The response was always a confirmation like "We confirm that facing brick xxx complies with the specifications of the development plan yyyy." That should keep us well covered. :) For the klinker there was also the request not to choose too light a joint color, but that was our only "condition". I believe it was a good solution for everyone, minimal effort for the building authority and we are protected in writing. :)
